  Sri Madhanentheswara Sidhivinayaka Temple, Madhur   Madhur Temple is located on the banks of serene ‘ Madhuvahini river ’. Lord Shiva is the presiding deity of Madhur Madhanentheswara Sidhivinayaka Temple, but equal importance is given to the deity Maha Ganapathi. The main festival is Moodappaseva, which involves a huge figure of Ganapathy being covered with appam.   Sri DurgaParameshvari Temple, Malla   Sri Malla DurgaParameshwari temple is a famous shrine near Kasaragod. Navaratri, Karthika Hunnime, Vasanthotsava and Kalabha are special days at the temple. The special feature of the Malla Durga Parameshwari Temple is daily Annadanam which consists of distributing food among the devotees. Best to visit is from September onwards to January.   Sri Talakaveri (Talacauvery) Temple, Coorg   Talakaveri is the Birth Place of holy River Kaveri. Kaveri (Cauvery) river is one of the major rivers of southern India. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kaveriamma. Other deities worshiped here are Lord Agastheeswar and Maha Ganapathi.  The Tula Sankramana is a very special day in the temple normally falls in mid October every year.   Talakaveri Kundike Talakaveri in Kodagu district is a holy place with pilgrims from all over the neighboring states visiting every year.     Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple, Puttur   Puttur Mahalingeshwara temple is an ancient temple said to be built around the 11-12th Century. Lord Shiva is the main deity of this temple. Kateel Temple The main attraction of the town is the temple of Sri Durga Parameshwari. Thousands of devotees visit Kateel every day to seek blessings from goddess Durga Parameshwari. Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatha Temple is an ancient temple (around 800 years old) situated on the banks of river Nethravathi. The main deity of the temple is Lord Shiva (Manjunatha) is believed to be very powerful. Ammanavaru, Lord Ganapathi, Annappa Swamy and four Dharma Daivas (Kalarahu, Kalarkayi, Kumaraswamy and Kanyakumari) are other deities of this temple.
